ID in Wallet

The future of Wallet is no wallet at all. You can already add boarding passes, tickets for events, and credit or debit cards to Wallet. And now, you can also add your driver's license or State ID. Presenting your ID just got that easy.
Art director, and lead design for ID in Wallet visual identity and launch campaign in the US market. Collaborated with creative, design, motion, and multiple cross-functional teams including CG Studio, Interactive, and Hardware teams. Worked primarily on guidance and direction of the visual identity, design system, landing page, static and motion templates, and a marketing toolkit.

We first launched with four states; Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, and Maryland. We needed a flexible design, and color system that would be able to accomodate future State IDs.
Expanding upon the Wallet Brand Identity, we create a distinctive, and responsive color system for each State ID. This creates a modular visual system. The State IDs will each have a unique design, and a corresponding, bespoke 4-color system.

The following images exemplify how this responsive color system plays out across the ID in Wallet visual language.

The ID in Wallet identity system are inspired by the Wallet app icon card stack and infused with product-specific color, and design elements. The result is a look and feel that can expand across all 50 states. We created a marketing toolkit, guidelines, and static and motion templates for future implementation, and expansion of the ID in Wallet identity.

In addition to the marketing toolkit, and digital out of home, we worked closely with the Interactive team to launch a landing page for ID in Wallet. Since launch, four more state IDs have been added. We collaborated with design studio Trollbäck, 3D studio Tendril, and production studio Media Monks.
