Waves is a collection of chill wave music written, produced and recorded between late 2024 and early 2025. The collection features short snippets filled with melodic guitar riffs and bass lines using the Chroma Console, and arranged on the OP-1 Field’s digital reel to reel; a blend of acoustic and digital sounds. The use of high and low pass filters act as a sonic bridge between each musical composition. This is a work in progress.

Filipino Spaghetti Western is a collection of western psychedelic music written, produced and recorded between summer 2022 and late spring of 2023. The concept is about the cultural influence of spaghetti westerns and classic Americana on the Philippines during the early 1950’s to 1970’s. The album reflects on the Filipino—American experience, wrangling between machismo and tsismis, and growing up in two distinct worlds. This is a work in progress.

Lunar Dance is a collection of neo-classical ambient music written, and produced in late winter of 2023. This was an experiment of sounds and textures with an emphasis on cinematic moods and atmosphere. It’s focus is less about structure, melody, and form, but rather the delicate “dance” between digital plugins and analog sounds from a forgotten era.

Portals is a collection of ambient music written, produced and recorded between early summer and late winter of 2021. This is a musical journal about the process of parenthood before birth. In the span of 9 months and between breathing exercises and doctor appointments, the majority of this project was made with a laptop and an OP-1. This collection of sound and music is dedicated to Kristin.
